Walking

I'm making progress on the walking front. Mummy & daddy brought out this walker that's loads of fun. It's actually so much fun that Noah and I fight over who's turn it is to use it. I use the walker and anything else that I can pull up on to walk around and in an adventurous moment I even let go and hold my balance for a bit. I haven't decided when the real walking begins as I want to keep everyone guessing, but rest assured I'm getting ready.

Oasis of the Sea

The happy family on Thanksgiving day. The good part of a Thanksgiving cruise? No clean up!

Oasis is apparently the first ship to have a fully developed childcare program. Noah and I hung out there for a few hours so mummy & daddy could have a conversation or two without interruption.

Oasis has a carousel! How fun is that?

The last picture didn't seem to reflect Noah's true feelings about the carousel so I thought I'd add another.

They had the coolest splash park! Water cannons, creatures that water flows over and out of and lots of fun colors. If that wasn't enough, there is a donut pool with a current so you can float around and around in circles with the current.

Johnny Rockets is on board and lots of fun! To make it even more awesome (for Noah) there was a double-decker bus to play in.

The one pool related bummer is this.....there is a little area for swim diaper kids and only swim diaper kids are allowed in there. That meant that I had a little area to play in and Noah had everything else. We really wanted to play together though so we both hung out near our divider wall and made the best of it.

Even in my swim diaper kids area I was able to have fun.

Kids ship within the ship that Noah got to play on.

Our cool dude towel creation thanks to our great stateroom attendant.

For Thanksgiving we were on Royal Caribbean's new ship, the Oasis of the Sea, which is the world's largest cruise ship. It was a pre-inaugural friends & family event, so it was a cruise to nowhere, but it was full of adventure! The pictures capture some of our fun, but the things we didn't get captured were the zip line, climbing wall, mini golf, Flow Rider, ice skating show, Hairspray, Central Park, the Aqua Theater (think Cirque de Sole meets diving) and the spa.

Pre-Thanksgiving

Mmmmmmm - sand

Just a little light vacation reading......

Hammock time. The picture may be a bit small, but maybe you can see the sand around my mouth?

We spent Thanksgiving on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Sea, but for pre-Thanksgiving we hung out at a resort in Florida. I had my first real expereince with sand now that I can crawl, and I think it's tasty! (Mummy says "Yuck!")

Finger Painting

9 3/4

Thew, that's what I think about that.

Just as my 6 month appointment was a little delayed, my 9 month check up was also delayed. The good news is that everything checked out just fine and I'm doing great. I weighed in at 18 lbs 13 oz and measured 28 1/2 inches long.

Adventures in Delaware - Other

Anna and Gran

I don't dig petting zoos. This is about as close to petting an animal as I came.

I turned Village Hall into a parking garage. When all was said and done, I had a line 5 cars deep to get into my garage. Popular place!

Uncle Peter and Anna

Daddy and me in the train

Anna takes her turn driving the train

I think we make convincing train conductors, if only we had hats

In addition to the playground, we also went to the zoo and this kids play place. Seriously, could we have had more fun?

Adventures in Delaware - Playground

Everyone has fun at the playground!

Anna can slide now! She's growing up right before my eyes.

I couldn't stop smiling I loved this playground so much.

I think Uncle Peter has an unfair advantage don't you?

Most awesome slide ever! It's a bunch of rollers so the heavier you are the faster you go. I wasn't heavy enough to make it go that fast so mummy & daddy would pre-roll the rollers for me. Awesome!

Anna's getting into more then just the swing.

Last weekend we went to Delaware to visit Gran and Uncle Peter. We had uncommonly good weather which allowed for lots of adventures. There's this awesome playground right near Grans house that we made lots of trips to. Loved it!

Halloween 2009

My first pumpkin

Pooh normally eats honey, but with Anna around leaves are a good substitute.
