Christmas Show

This week was the annual Noah's Ark Christmas show and this year I was a star, ok I was actually a shepherd, but this was my first year with a role.  Julia and Liz goofed around together before the big event.

The 2s & 3s classes opened the show with a few songs - Jesus Was Born on Christmas Day, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Jingle Bells.  Jonah did great and jumped around a lot during his portion of the show.

Who wouldn't love such a great birthday cake for when they turn 3?  Check out my super awesome firetruck cake!

See how excited I was?  I could hardly contain myself!

Yummy cake!  The frosting is my favorite part and the cake is Anna's favorite part, so we make a good cake team.  I had my annual check up right around my birthday and came in at 36 lbs (85%) and 40 3/8" (95%).  I am a big boy and loving every minute of it!

Making Wishes

For the first year ever, we got to help Gran make the Christmas pudding.  Apparently there's a tradition that each person takes a turn stirring the batter to stir their Christmas wish into it.  Once the wish is stirred in, it's likely to come true.  Here's my wish going in.

Even I got to stir my wish in.  I'm not saying for sure, but my wish may have been to fling the spoon all over the kitchen, which didn't come true.

Sledding

We went sledding at a real sledding hill in Frisco.  I mean, we had fancy tubes and a "magic carpet" to ride up the hill.  I had a great time and kept going and going and going.

Jonah and Anna had fun, but not as much fun as me, so they hung out on the snow with grandma for a bit.

Although grandma actually didn't tube, she had fun watching and laughed when we made her sit in a tube.

Uncle Scott & Aunt Ericka

Jonah sweet talked Aunt Ericka into pulling him to the exit instead of having to walk.

As we were leaving, Anna and I took a couple of big jumps off the snow mound.  We look pretty cool don't we?

Then I asked Anna to pull me to the exit.

Mummy didn't think it was nice of me, so she made me pull Anna the rest of the way.  Luckily we were close to the exit, so it wasn't that hard.

Alpine, Not Palatine Roller Coaster

We got to do this great alpine roller coaster in Breckenridge.  None of us were tall enough to go solo, but we had a great time going with the adults.  Jonah did have a hard time saying alpine roller coaster and kept calling it Palatine coaster which I had to correct every time because I couldn't stand it being said wrong.

Noah rode a few times with a staff worker.  I did too.  Mummy could only manage 3 rides before she was ready to throw up, so she was really grateful for the workers since we wanted to keep going.

Snow Deprived

We are such snow deprived children, that while walking through Breckenridge we carried around "snowballs" (which most people would call blocks of ice) and rolled around any patch of snow we could find.  We love the snow!

Two Horse Open Sleigh

While in Breckenridge, we got to go on a two horse open sleigh ride.  Noah and I loved the horses!

But she enjoyed them from the sleigh....

Our sleigh ride took us to a tent where there was old style country music and hot chocolate.  There was also stick horses for us to rides.  Giddy-up pony!

I was such an enthusiastic stick pony rider that I was even invited up on stage to sit in the real saddle by the singer.  He wanted me to sing along, which I wasn't so keen on, but I liked being on stage.

Snowmobiling

One day mummy & daddy took Noah & Anna snowmobiling and left me and Julia home with a sitter.  It wasn't all bad though as I was able to build my first snowman.  The snow was old and didn't mold well, but he's not the worst looking thing in the whole world.

Although most of the snowmobiling tour was with mummy & daddy on big snowmobiles, we did get a chance to drive kiddie snowmobiles which was perhaps the most fun of the trip.  I really loved snowmobiling and was able to go back later in the week with daddy, Uncle Scott and Sierra.
