Our friends, the Sloat,s hosted a pumpkin carving party this weekend. Everything is more fun with friends, so we had a great time carving our pumpkin and catching up with good friends.

To keep the annual tradition alive, we all dressed up in our Halloween costumes for play group again this year. Mrs. Swint really stepped things up with glow bracelets, a craft project and homemade pizza. Thanks to everyone for a great day!

Jammies!

We had our friends Sam & Lily over tonight for a little playdate and dinner while their parents had some quality kid-free time. As our evening came to a close we all sat on the couch and chilled in our jammies. This is really what childhood is all about - really, who can resist 4 cuties in footed PJs?

Fire

Our local fire station had an open house today. I love fire engines, so this was a great day. We got to go into all the fire engines and the ambulance. We also got to see the ladder truck fully extended and firemen rappelling down the outside of the fire station. Seriously awesome day!

Aquarium

After an exciting morning at the aquarium it was time for us to belly up to the bar.

The lighting in the aquarium wasn't very good, so there weren't many indoor pictures. Here we're in the lobby with a penguin statue.


Today we went to the aquarium and lunch with the Gordons. I always love hanging out with my buddy, Sam, and Anna has a good time with Lily; add some turtles, seals, penguins and fish and a good time is guaranteed for all!

Bath Time

In case you can't tell, Noah's a blue dog and I'm a purple giraffe.


After bath time is over it's time to hang out in our towels. Noah's had this great hooded towel for a while now and I just got one too. Don't we look cool (and clean)?

Topsfield Fair

We went on a turtle ride, an elephant ride and Noah went on the "crazy bus" ride. We've been doing a lot of rides lately, but they're always fun!

Who needs rides when there's farm equipment to try out? Here I am trying out an at-home backhoe. I think I know what I'd like for Christmas this year.

Noah meanwhile settled on a $35,700 excavator as his Christmas wish.

This weekend was the last weekend of the Topsfield Fair for 2010 so we decided to go and check it out. We had beautiful fall weather that allowed us to go on some fun rides, watch a duck race, see a bunch of cute bunnies and be introduced to "fair food". I think that if it's left to Noah and me we'll be going back next year to enjoy all of the same things again.

Edaville and George

Mummy's not sure that Edaville follows standard ride safety guidelines. The rides were all really fast, so it was really hard to get any non-blurry "action" pictures. Despite mummy's safety concerns, we loved the speed and the few blurry pictures prove we really were nothing but smiles.

Today we went to Edaville which is a train amusement park. Today was the first really cool fall day we've had, so Noah and I ended up with some gift shop apparel (a hat for me and a sweatshirt for Noah) because mummy and daddy didn't have us dressed warm enough. What made this a special day for Noah was that not only were we at a train place, but Curious George was there. Despite the cold we had a great time and really enjoyed our time together as a family.
