Gran

Gran, Uncle Peter and Lulu came to celebrate my first Christmas with me. Peter & Lulu had to leave early, but Gran was able to stay for an extended visit. It was wonderful to get to meet her and I look forward to years of adventure ahead. Everyone else enjoyed the visit as well and we were all sad to see her go.

Snowfall

Noah's helping to shovel. The snow was mid-thigh in places for him and he even lost a boot at one point, but he stayed out until the brutal end and loved every minute of it.

I however did not like the cold blowing snow (as you may be able to tell by my expression) and was back inside quickly.

Instead of playing in the cold snow I decided to come inside and hang out with Jonah. A much better use of my time if you ask me.

Although we didn't have a white Christmas this year, right after Christmas we had our first snow fall and boy was it a doozie! We had almost 2 feet of snow in a 36 hour period. Noah, daddy, Uncle Peter and I went out to play in the snow for a bit, but I didn't last long and was back inside after 5 minutes.

Sundays

The gingerbread house that Noah, Anna and daddy made at the small group Christmas celebration. In addition to the gingerbread, there was an advent story and carols. It was a great fun celebration.

Apparently this is what Sundays are about at my house. Ok, that's not true, usually we go to church, but this week everyone was feeling a bit under the weather so we stayed home and chilled.

Three's Company

So here we all are, at home, enjoying each others company by the Christmas tree. As you'll see, Noah and I are wearing the same outfit because we roll like that. Mummy and daddy are learning that it's hard to get a good picture of three kids, so this is the best of the bunch.

Today was my Christmas celebration at preschool today. We did a play about a very special baby named Jesus and I was a sheep. Although we don't attend a Christian preschool, mummy and daddy are grateful that we get to learn about Jesus' birth in school. In addition to our play we sang a few songs. Here are a few highlights from the event.

Bye Bye Grandma

Today Grandma Abrams from Colorado had to go home. I didn't realize that she didn't live here in Massachusetts with us as she's been here all my life. I miss her already. Noah and Anna didn't want to sit still for a picture of all of us, but here is the best that Mummy was able to take. I look forward to seeing Grandma again, but I know she had to get home to see Great Grandma Schoon and Uncle Scott who is graduating from Nursing School this weekend.

Radio Anna

I've finally found Pandora and love the ability to create my own station - Radio Anna - and listen to it on Daddy's Blackberry.

Polar Express

The window coverings may have been festive, but I spent the whole ride peeking under them.

I went nose to nose with Frosty the Snowman.

Grant and his mommy (and the rest of his family) joined us on the Polar Express.

If you know me, you know that I love trains. In the midst of my new baby brother and Christmas, mummy and daddy made time for us to check out the Polar Express experience out of the Woburn commuter rail station. Despite all of the Polar Express excitement, I was most interested in the train because I really do love trains. Any excuse for a train ride is awesome, so this was a great day.

So on some level all babies look the same, I get that, but check out how much Noah and I look alike. Maybe it has something to do with the towel, maybe it's genetics or maybe it's just that we're both babies, but it's something to ponder right before I take my many naps.

Everyone sang to me and then Noah helped me blow my candle out. I didn't really get what was going on, but everyone else was very excited.

After a few days in the hospital, it was time to come home. Life is much more cozy at home and I get to spend way more time with Noah and Anna this way. To help celebrate my homecoming, they even baked me a cake. I didn't get to eat the cake, but everyone else enjoyed it. Life at home sure is grand!

O' Christmas Tree

I'm just giving the tree a close inspection.

Noah was trying to do his part to get the ornaments more distributed in the tree.

All the stockings were hung by the chimney with care - and that makes me happy.

Noah concentrated really hard with each ornament he hung.

This year putting up our Christmas tree was a family affair. The ornaments may not be spaced perfectly or hung very high, but Noah and I were very proud of our work!
