Photo Shoot

During our train ride mummy had a little photo shoot of mostly me, but she did get one of Jonah.  There's not much commentary to go with the pictures, but I wanted to share mummy's efforts of a super cute subject.

IRM

For Memorial Day we went to the IRM (Illinois Railway Museum).  It was a hot and windy day (as you can tell by their hair) and it was a lot of fun to see all the trains.

At the IRM, there are a bunch of train "barns" that you walk through.  We got to walk through a few of the trains, but for most we just saw the outside.

In the locomotive barn there were giant locomotives.  Although it may be hard to tell, the wheels of this train are just a bit taller then daddy when he's standing up.  Because of that, Anna preferred to be closer to mummy then daddy for this picture.

After all of our exploring we got to take a 40 minute train ride.  We had a "boys" side and a "girls" side.  Here are the boys on our side.

After such an adventurous day, we all needed a little nap on the train ride.

Preschool's Over

As part of preschool graduation, we showed our parents that we have learned the Lord's Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.  I had been enthusiastically painting prior to the ceremony, which you can tell by my shirt.

As part of graduation I got a children's Bible and a graduation certificate.

Graduation photo with Mrs. Gadie and Mrs. Jobes, the best 4 year old teachers I could have ever had.  Everyone agrees that I did a lot of growing up this past year, and my teachers were a big part of that development.

Class photo: Sienna, Mrs. Jobes, Anthony, Anshul, Lucianna, Reese, Mrs. Gaide, me, Rohan and Brandon

Hugs good-bye

Me and my best buds - Brandon & Anthony.  Seriously, preschool wouldn't have been nearly as great if it wasn't for them!

School's Out for Summer

For the last day of school we did manage to get a little outdoor classroom time in.  Camryn and I were busy doing wheelbarrow work.

We also got to help wash some of our toys to get ready for the end of school.  Since I love babies so much, any chance to give them a bath is welcome in my world.

Our year-end craft was tie-dying a shirt.  It was pretty fun to spray dye onto a shirt, but it will be even more fun to wear something that I made.

Thanks to Ms. Calabrese and Mrs. Brunner for a great year in the 2s at Noah's Ark!

Haircut

I finally got my first hair cut!  It was an exciting time, and according to the general population, also timely since strangers had started calling me "her".

I braved both the scissors and the clippers without any tears.

You can see that I still have a still curls left in this picture, but not anymore.

Happy Mother's Day

Mummy & me at my school's Mother's Day celebration.  We sang Skidamarink (with motions) and made punch and pies.  It was fabulous!

Getting a Mother's Day picture where we're all looking at the camera is much harder then you'd think these days.

The best gift mummy got this year?  Me learning to ride my 2 wheeler.  I'm off like a rocket and doing an awesome job!

Jonah didn't get in on the bike riding action, but he did add to the excitement of the day.

In an unrelated celebration, Anna got a new "bee" bike.  She really is a big kid now - now all she has to do is learn to peddle and use the balance bike to balance and she'll be able to ride a 2 wheeler like me!

Hacked

Today Noah decided to cut my hair.  I'm lucky that I've got a curly messy hair style, so it's a little hard to tell, but the hair over my ears used to touch my shoulders.  If you look at me straight-on it looks like a curly mess on the left and hair pulled back on the right.  My new style is a bit of a comb-over and I think that mummy will be pushing a lot more pigtails to try and cover my new style.

Dance Party

A common occurrence at our house is to have a dance party after bath time.  There's a raised fireplace in mummy & daddy's room that we use as a stage to bust our moves on.  As you'll see, I've got some awesome moves!

Noah usually participates in our dance party, but this particular night he wasn't really in the mood.

Jonah loves dance party nights!  He likes to show off his moves both on and off the stage.
