My Big Birthday Adventure

Here is where our adventure began, at the Anderson/RTC commuter rail stop.

I really loved the train ride and couldn't stop looking out the window at the sights passing by.

On the train ride home, Anna was goofing off with daddy's Red Sox hat.

For my birthday this year, we had an awesome adventure combining all of the things I love the most! First we took the purple train (the commuter rail) into Boston, then we rode a tourist trolley bus all around town, then we took a harbor cruise, then we stopped for lunch and rode the carousel and made our way back to the purple train to come home. How awesome is that? Talk about an amazing birthday adventure!

I love the waterman, Anna's a bit more concerned about him when he's spraying water. Waterman is awesome!

For my birthday this year I got a few fun backyard toys. The weather's been super hot, so there's been plenty of opportunity to test out waterman. Thanks to Gran & Uncle Peter for these awesome gifts!

Bike

For my birthday, mummy, daddy and Anna bought me a Lightning McQueen bike. Check out my cool new wheels!

Jersey Shore

These are the friends that made the trip so special: Tristan, Selah, Finn, Sam, Lily, Ellie, Jack, Brenna, me and Noah

I spent the whole week putting my head in the sand. I loved the sand so much that I was frequently caught eating it. Everyone thought I was silly, but I liked how it felt in my mouth.

Driving to Stone Harbor, daddy saved a terrapin turtle in the road. Isn't he a hero?

Auntie Leslie brought Kyle, the walrus, on vacation and he came to Stone Harbor with us. Check out how cool Noah looks in his sun glasses.

Since it was Brenna's birthday during the trip, and mine right after, we had a little celebration that included an ice cream cake, candles and a birthday song.



We just got back from our annual summer trip to the Jersey Shore with some of closest friends. The weather was beautiful, the company was great and the memories were priceless! We had 15 adults and 10 kids under the age of 4 and still had so much fun that we're going to do it again next year!

Happy Birthday to Me! - Preschool Style

So although my birthday is a few weeks away, let the party begin! Tomorrow I'm having an early celebration with my preschool friends. Mummy and I made some cupcakes to celebrate and as you'll see, they're quite a sight (they're supposed to be frogs in case you can't tell). Let the celebration begin!

Boating

Noah and I went boating today. The water was calm, the skies were clear and our boats were out of this world!

Colorado Adventures

We went to Country Boy Gold Mine as one of our first adventures. Let me tell you, I don't think any of the Goodalls are cut out to be hard rock miners! I didn't really like the cold, dark, wet mine tour, but I did like the donkeys that roamed around outside.

After the mine tour, while I was making friends with the mule, cousin Sierra was panning for gold. Although the weather may look lovely, it was pretty cold outside and it randomly snowed.

Another adventure was a tour of Old South Park. There were lots of old fashion buildings, but more importantly there was a train! We were able to get into the caboose and explore. Here is Anna checking out the train staff's bed in the caboose.

Anna is checking out the old fashion desk in the 1-room schoolhouse. Grandma said that this was the kind of desk that she had back when she was in elementary school.

We made it onto a real train with the Georgetown Loop train. It was awesome! I really do love trains!

In preparation for my big horseback riding debut, we went to the stables a day in advance to get me comfortable. Here I am am feeding Maggie the Mule an apple.

We just got back from an awesome week in Colorado with friends and family. We stayed at a condo in Breckenridge and had all sorts of adventures. Here are a few pictures to illustrate the fun that we had.
