Run Around

Mummy pulled the play station up from the basement for me and asked Noah to show me how it works. I'm not quite sure that this is what she had in mind.......

Green Day

I finally had another play date with my friend Issac. His mummy & daddy are teachers so we hardly see them during the school year, but now that they're on summer break there's more time. We had lots of fun playing in the backyard and then for dessert we had cupcakes with blue frosting! I'm hoping we can play again soon, and maybe eat more cupcakes too.

It had rained earlier in the day, so the doormat was wet. Boy did that make for a fun time on the porch!!!!

Uncle Richard

Uncle Richard takes great pictures. Gran just shared a bunch with us that Uncle Richard gave her. It really is too bad he's so far away, otherwise we'd have him take lots of pictures of us because it's a great combination. Thanks Uncle Richard!

Outdoors Men

There's a drawer in the guest room that really allows me to explore what kind of outdoors men I could become. Right now I'm toying with skier and fisherman at the same time. Stay tuned to see what I decide.

Pool Party

Anna and neighbor Lily hanging out. Lily is a few weeks older then Anna and they have a great time looking at each other.

Boys rule the pool! Me and Mads and our other neighbor Georgie. Georgie is almost a year older then me, but we have great fun together. He's also Lily's big brother, so we can relate about how to care for our little sisters.

The other day I was playing in my pool and it turned into a backyard party! There are some really wonderful benefits of having a shared backyard with great neighbors.

Summer Days

As summer has finally come to Massachusetts, and we're back in Massachusetts for more then a few days, summer fun has begun. Today I played in my swimming pool with Ida. I had lots of fun jumping up in the pool and landing on my bottom. I also liked to try and get Ida extra wet.

To make a quick report on Anna, she's almost mastered sitting up. During a swim break, Ida went to sit with Anna.

Rolling

So it's been a big few weeks for me. I've been working on mastering my front to back roll, I cut 2 teeth, I've been practicing sitting (and doing pretty well) and finally I've got the back to front roll. There's no stopping me now!

Doggie Shopping

A few months ago mummy was laughing at our friend Lauren because she was making friends with the Old Navy mannequins. Today while we were running errands I had a chance to meet these mannequins. The people were fine, but it was really their doggie that I was most taken with. I totally get why Lauren likes Old Navy.

Uncomfortable

People are also amazed at the strange positions that babies sleep in. I've been trying out some new poses myself that I don't find too bad.

Teeth

I cut my bottom front two teeth this week at the same time. Imagine mummy's shock when she realized there we two of them in there! While we were waiting in line at the tall ships, mummy made sure to get a picture documenting the arrival of my teeth. It may not be the most faltering picture, but it does what she wanted.

Tall Ships

The best part of going to see the tall ships in Boston is that we got to walk on them! I was very excited to get to be on a ship and thought that wearing my lobster shirt on a ship was very New England of me.

Firetruck

We went to see the tall ships in the Charlestown Naval Yard today. On our way to the ships there was a Boston firetruck that the firemen kindly let me sit in and drive. Firetrucks are cool!

Travel

So Anna and I may be big international travelers, but we don't always travel with much style. This is how we flew home from the UK. Check out my sweet hairdo!

2

I just had my 2 year check up this week, a little late. Everything checks out a-ok and I have 3 of my 4 2 1/2 year molars already. Mummy does not recommend putting your fingers in my mouth! I weighed in at 26.5 lbs (25% - wow!!!!) and a long 36" (86%). Next up on the list: toddler bed, dropping paci and potty training. Never a dull moment.

Cute

Hanging out at Largs. The fresh sea breeze was nice.

Having a great time at the park at Rouken Glen.

Although I can't sit well by myself, Aunt Liz borrowed this "doughnut" and I had a great time sitting all by myself.

Here I am, charming the family with my great smile.

During the early part of our trip the weather was super sunny and mummy didn't have a hat for me so Gran and Lorna fashioned this "hat" for me out of my burp cloth.

While we were in the UK I posed for all sorts of cute pictures. Here is a sampling that highlights the fun that I had.

UK Adventures

Double-decker bus ride. Need I say more? Seriously, I love this place, even their buses are cool!

I can't take my eyes off of all of the sites from the top part of a double decker-bus. I would have riden the bus everyday if I could have!

Anne and Lorna swinging me. This is one of the best ways to "walk" through town.

At the park I met this cute little girl on the merry go round. This was my first time on a merry go round as they don't seem to exist in American playgrounds anymore. It was lots of fun, another reason I love this place!

In case you were wondering, I'm pretty sure that this is Percy. We went to the transport museum and there were all these great old steam engines. It was enough to spark mummy's interest in trains again.

Trying on noses at the art museum.

"Driving" the dune buggy at the sea coast in Largs.

While we were in the UK we did all sorts of fun everyday things. It may not have been anything special, but I had fun with each and every adventure that we had.

Family Aboard

Gran, Cousin Anne, Anna, Aunt Liz, Uncle Richard, Mummy, Me and Daddy (we forgot to get this picture before Lorna left so she's missing, but I had a great time with her as well)

Aunt Liz is feeding me a cupcake. With all these June birthdays, every time I see a cupcake or a cake I figure it's time for me to eat cake!

Anna and Gran

Uncle Richard and Anna

Cousin Lorna and Anna

Great-grandpa Goodall, me and daddy. If only Grandpa had been around we would have had all 4 generations, but 3 will have to do.

Me and Anna with Great-grandpa Goodall

I just got back for an excellent visit with my family in the UK. It was my first time meeting most of the family and I had a great time. In addition to all the family in the pictures, I got to meet Uncle John, cousin Sabrina and her kids, Courtney and Mark, Uncle Alec, Aunt Betty and "Aunt" Lorna, "Aunt" Vicki and "Uncle" Dave. I love when I can be the center of attention. I mean I had to share some of the spotlight with Anna, but I'm getting used to that and she still does sleep a lot.
