After Anna's party there was a little leftover cake that daddy doled out tonight. No matter how many times we eat cake, we are not clean.

To celebrate my birthday, we had a blow-out party! The people were great, the playing was wonderful and the cake, well the pictures tell the story of the cake. If I could have a little more of all of it that would be ideal.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today I'm 1!!!! It's been a great year and I'm looking forward to many more ahead of me. I went to the doctor today for a regular check up and I'm 20 lbs 14 oz (50%) and 29.5" (50-75% depending on the chart) with a head circumference of 18.5" (90%). The doctor agreed that I'm a healthy happy little girl with a bright future.

Fall in Line

I'm laying next to the line just as a point of reference. I'm at least 36", so you'll see this is quite a line.


As mummy is working to teach me obedience, I'm practicing on my toys. You'll see that my toys may be better able to fall in line, but I sure am trying.

Walker

This is my early walking with a little help. This is still my preferred method if I have any distance to go.

It's official, I'm a walker before my first birthday! I still fall and crawl a lot, but I also randomly walk part way across the room because it suits my fancy. (Sorry for the sideways video, silly mummy!)

Major Accomplishments

Because my steps are sporadic and few, it's hard for anyone to get a picture of that, but check out my free-stand.

Mummy's been pretty busy and I just realized that she has forgotten to share some pretty major accomplishments that have recently occurred in our household for Noah and me. First of all, Noah is officially daytime potty trained. Since he managed this before he was 2 1/2, he's set the bar pretty high for me, but I'm proud of my brother. The other major accomplishment is mine. Although I'm not a "walker" I've taken a number of steps here and there repeatedly. I'll become a "walker" on my own timetable, but do like all of the attention my steps gets me.

Happy New Year! 2009 was a great year for me, but I can't wait to see what 2010 holds. To bring in the new year, our neighbors, the Sorensens, came over for dinner, games and fun hats. They also turned us onto a great Danish New Year traditional cake which mummy thinks may become a Goodall tradition as well.
