Pre-Duck Tour departure

I have been seeing Duck Tours all around Boston and have thought that they were cool. Today my dream was realized and we got to go on a Duck Tour! We were luck enough to have the Sorensens join us, and in my world everything is better with Mads & Ida.

Family Camp

Noah loved wearing a headlamp and running around the cabin, especially right after he turned the lights off.

Anna enjoyed a little patch of sunshine.

There was a giant slip-n-slide which was serious fun. I enjoyed it almost as much as daddy did. :)

The longer we were at Family Camp the colder it got. Here Anna is wearing a hat, a long sleeve onesie, socks, thick PJs and pants. After that, she had on a sleep sack all in the effort to keep her warm. She did wake up a little blue the next morning, but it could have been worse.

I had just turned off the lights to test out my flashlight.

Mummy was doing a performance for Anna and me to keep us entertained. She really does have some nice hidden talents.

Anna wasn't the only one to be unprepared for the cold, Brenna was unprepared as well which is how they both ended up in pumpkin hats. Aren't they cute?

This year we went to Park Street's Family Camp at Camp Laurel in Maine. Despite the mice in our cabin and a full day of rain we really had a wonderful time. We met lots of other Park Street families and made all sorts of memories for our family as well.

Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway

Boston has gone green, that is greenway! As part of the "Big Dig" a bunch of former highway space was re-purposed to parkland. In addition to the green space, there's also a carousel and water features. Noah and I thought that it was great!!

Playground

The playground is actually starting to be a somewhat interesting place for me. Now that I can sit, I can swing!

6 Months, Delayed

I finally had my 6 month check up today, almost 2 weeks delayed. It was a pretty standard appointment, but I did get weighed and measured again. I'm not quite long and lean, but I am awfully long; guess I've got daddy to thank for that. Anyway, I'm 17.3 lbs (68%) and 28" (97%) and have a head circumference in the 96% as well. Based on how perfect my sit is, the doctor doesn't think it will be too much longer before I'm crawling - fun, fun, fun!

Helper

Noah is such a big boy that he likes to help mummy and daddy do everything; so it seemed only natural that he would try and help feed me. It went pretty well overall, although it still holds true that I can't stop smiling whenever he pays any attention to me. I love my big brother!!!!

Lisa

Although Noah looks sad, he really loved Lisa. Maybe he was sad that she was going home?

Me and Jamie. It had been months since I'd seen her, so it was nice to catch up.

Mummy's friend, Lisa, came for a visit this week. It was very nice to see her and mummy had a great time visiting. On Lisa's last day, we went to visit Jamie in Maine which was lots of fun.
