Painter

The other day we were at the house while Andy, the painter, was painting my bathroom.  I commented that I wanted to paint the house.  Mummy said that it was harder then it looked and Andy just made it look easy.  At that, Andy let me try.  Given how well I did, mummy sees painter as a possible summer job for me.

What Are They Doing to Me?

After Noah's graduation we went to Egg Harbor for lunch.  Liz was feeding me bacon.  I may not have enough teeth for bacon, but I have a taste for bacon and anticipate liking it a lot later in life.

The American Girl stroller my specifically say that it's not intended for real babies, but that didn't stop daddy from trying.

Mummy thinks that I often look confused.  Given all the strange things that happen around me, there's a reason for my confusion.

Kinder-grad

Walking down the isle as a pre-graduate.

I did it!  I graduated Kindergarten!  Mrs. Randal-Hayes was such a great teacher!  She always had such special touches.  One of her special touches was waking up to this great celebratory sign in our front yard graduation morning.

Moving Up

I'm moving on up - no more 3s room, I'm moving onto the 4s.  I had a great year with Mrs. Quillen and Mrs. Jobes and leave with lovely memories.

Red Sox

Talk about adventure!  A few weeks ago we took the metra downtown with mummy to meet daddy and go to a Red Sox vs. White Sox game.  It was a blast and the Red Sox won which made it even better!

Daddy did the snack run and we always win when that happens.  If you can't make out what daddy is holding, it's a plastic baseball hat filled with ice cream and delicious toppings.  It was so much ice cream!  Daddy could easily wear the hat after we ate all the ice cream, just to give you an idea how much of a win this was for us!

We had great seats and were just a few rows back from the field.  Daddy found the grass inspiring and wants our new yard to look like the field.  Wishful thinking?

Babies

Sometimes us babies don't get to see as much action as the big kids.  That's not to say that we're not loving life too!  The other day Jonah thought he would see if he still fit in his old car seat and he was reasonable successful. 

And I can pull myself up to my knees to see all the things that I've been missing.  I haven't managed to get to my feet yet, but it's just a matter of time!

What We've Been Up To

A few weekends ago Anna and I went to a shoe-tying class at Nordstrom.  We started by balancing a shoehorn attached to a balloon on our heads.    It's not a easy as it sounds, but we did get the hang of it.

We practiced tying Converse.  Mummy said that they're cool shoes although I'm not sure.  After a little practice I actually got the hang of it.  Anna is going to need more practice, but I'm sure she'll get there.

Not only have we been tying our shoes, we've been playing on the Purple Sox Inverness T-Ball league.  Our games are very lax right now and we don't keep score, but it's lots of fun.  I really like playing and Anna really likes to goof off so it works for everyone.
