Aging

December 2009

March 2009

September 2007

Every time Grandpa comes to visit, he and Noah take the same picture. As you can see, Noah's aging more then Grandpa is right now.

Christmas 2009

As you can see, we weren't lacking in gifts this year.

All the stockings were hung by the chimney with care......

We did a gift exchange with Ida and Mads a few days before Christmas. Noah and I got some cute clothes and fun Danish toys!

This picture is classic me. The giraffe is a new friend I got at Christmas that I carried around in my mouth like a dog for the day. It's how I carry all the things I love the most.

Noah got a pair of Thomas PJs that he loved so much he had to put them on straight away.

Baby Jesus' birthday cake.

Birthday cake creators......

My first experience with Christmas crackers....

Noah sporting his Christmas cracker hat and tinsel.

We had a great Christmas this year celebrating baby Jesus' birthday. Gran, Uncle Peter and Lulu were around to help us celebrate and then Grandpa A & Grandma Janice came to help too.

Bruiser

A few months ago I took a spill on my bike and chipped my front two teeth. As exciting follow up, I had to have one of those teeth removed by an oral surgeon today. I really look like a bruiser right now with a missing tooth, a chipped tooth and a cut near my eye from jumping on the couch. Mummy's afraid that this is just the beginning of a lifetime of bruiser-hood and I think she's probably right.

December Update

Me and mummy in our "boat"

We bought a snow blower with our neighbors. It arrived on a Friday and everyone had to help set it up. Allan, his brother, Ole, Mads and Noah spent the most time on assembly. It was just in time though because we got the first big snow of the season on Saturday night. Again the boys took turns with the new toy. I'm fine with it as long as it never has to be my turn.

Noah trying on the hat for our snowman. Despite our big snow storm, it wasn't good building snow so we went sledding instead.

What a great looking Christmas gift! :)

Noah and his teacher, Ms. Donna. They had a preschool Christmas pageant that we all attended. The 2 year olds just watched, but I could tell Noah was plotting his part for next year already.

Although we haven't had any big adventures in the past few weeks, we've been finding fun in all sorts of places. As opposed to using words to explain, here are some pictures......

Trains

Someone coming through a tunnel. Wonder who it is.....

Percy and Spencer. I don't know Spencer that well, but Percy is one of my super favorites.

Thomas at a railroad crossing. He stopped for a photo-op.

I think the reason I like Thomas is that he pulls Annie & Clarabelle, 2 more of my super favorites.

This weekend we went to the coolest place ever - a miniature train show. I could have stayed there for hours. Some of my favorite trains were there.

Splish Splash

Classic bath mohawk

Anna about to stand up in the bath again

Anna doesn't have enough hair for a traditional mohawk, but she does have a bit of a tail

After Anna's meatloaf disaster there was a bonus bath this week for us both!

Meatloaf

Most kids get messy eating things like spaghetti and birthday cake, but me, I opt for getting messy with meatloaf and baked potatoes. To ensure that I got extra messy, I rubbed it in my hair a few times, I mean who really need conditioner when you've got meatloaf?
