O' Christmas Tree

Our finished product.

I'm just giving the tree a close inspection.

Noah was trying to do his part to get the ornaments more distributed in the tree.

All the stockings were hung by the chimney with care - and that makes me happy.

Noah concentrated really hard with each ornament he hung.

This year putting up our Christmas tree was a family affair. The ornaments may not be spaced perfectly or hung very high, but Noah and I were very proud of our work!

Happy Thanksgiving

The whole gang from Thanksgiving.

Anna "reading" to Allan.

I just can't believe what Ida's saying!

I'm sitting with the big kids now!

Early prep involved washing leeks. Note to self - don't touch leeks then touch eyes, it really hurts!

This year we decided to try and show our neighbors a good 'ole fashion American Thanksgiving. As with any good 'ole American Thanksgiving, there was lots of prep work to be done and lots of food, most importantly, there was lots of laughter and good memories made.

Happy Halloween!

Mini Mouse & Fireman

Noah, garbage-trucking it on the blue bus to make his firefighter persona a bit more authentic.

Who doesn't want a Simba kiss to start Halloween?

Me and our great neighbors before the Halloween festivities really get started.

Jammies!

We had our friends Sam & Lily over tonight for a little playdate and dinner while their parents had some quality kid-free time. As our evening came to a close we all sat on the couch and chilled in our jammies. This is really what childhood is all about - really, who can resist 4 cuties in footed PJs?

Fire

Our local fire station had an open house today. I love fire engines, so this was a great day. We got to go into all the fire engines and the ambulance. We also got to see the ladder truck fully extended and firemen rappelling down the outside of the fire station. Seriously awesome day!
