Great-grandma
I did take a minute or two to stop running around like a crazy man to pose for a picture with great-grandma.
Pool
The house in Breckenridge had a pool table, which turned out to be awesome for my newly found pool skills. Grandma and I were about even with our skills match so it made for some good games.
Using the guiding cue to get a good shot off.
Grandma working on a good shot.
Anna just watching the game.
Anna was trying hard to not look amused.
Jonah has this terrible habit of putting food in his mouth and then squirreling it away. Whenever he gets caught, he's made to sit down until her swallows. He's not always happy about that.
And then his mouth clears and life doesn't seem so bad.
Thinking about strategy.
Jonah thought the cues were more like swords and had fun running around with them.

The other kids found our pool playing boring sometimes so they hung out under the table playing fort.

Dance Party
Just like at home, in Breckenridge we had a dance party, only I got to dance with Grandma! We had so much fun - I love to dance!
Great-grandma may not have many moves, but even she got in on the dance party!

Snowshoeing
Early in our trip to Breckenridge, we tried out snowshoeing as a family. Daddy pulled Julia in this sled that he attached to his waist and the rest of us walked. Noah really enjoyed himself, Anna had a decent time for the first half but didn't want to have to walk back (in her defense she had just been diagnosed with strep & an ear infection the day before), I had some footwear issues and Julia was happy as long as we were moving.
Julia all bundled up and finally out of the sled.
Our first snow hill of the trip.
More Julia......
So my footwear issue - mummy accidentally brought the size 2, not size 12 boots for me on the trip. I wear a size 10 shoe, so even the 12 would have been a stretch, but the 2 was just too big. Every 2-3 steps and I'd be out of a boot. I think that this is what really made snowshoeing not so fun for me.

Cute Overload
Just a few pictures of me from our Thanksgiving trip to Breckenridge. I didn't get to go on many of the adventures, but I did have a lot of fun anyway.

Reader Theater
This fall, the Marion Jordan 1st graders hosted Reader Theater where we all took turns reading aloud. I got the chance to be the first and last reader in my group. I did great and it was awesome!
Mystery
Even with the clues that our mystery reader has blonde hair, a blue car, their favorite flavor ice cream is pistachio and they are related to a boy & a girl in preschool, I still didn't guess that Gran was the mystery reader! I was so excited and my class loved Smitten, my favorite book.
