How Do Like Those Apples?

I was hanging out with Liz, Anna and Jonah having lunch today and Liz let me try an apple.  At first I wasn't totally sure about it, but in the end I grabbed the apple from Liz's hand and chewed on it myself.  I can't wait till I really get to try food!

Fabulous Four

Jonah really liked my birthday cake, but couldn't be bothered to eat it with a fork.

I got a jewelry box from Gran that I really love.  I don't store anything in it, but I play the music every night.

At school they acknowledge birthdays on the board - there were a lot of other announcements on my birthday, but I still made the board.

Me and Liz and one of my birthday balloons.  Liz gave me a Hello Kitty suitcase that comes with me everywhere I go in the house.

Me blowing out my candles.  This is actually take 2 because Jonah blew some of my candles out during the birthday song, which upset me, so they were re-lit for me.  It was a very happy 4th birthday for me and I'm so excited to be so old!

Day In the Life

The other day we were watching "Turtle Tale" and Jonah was scared of the mean birds at the beginning.  He needed me to protect him to watch the rest of the movie, and was happy to sit in my lap the whole time.

Who says that the accessories are just for Mr. Potatohead?

3 Months

Ever since an early jump in my weight gain, things have been slowing down and I'm a bit of a fussy eater, so I got to have a rare 3 month appointment, mostly to check my weight.  To clear up the most obvious question, my head is still around the 97% as I truly am a Goodall.  You'll see that's why it's so hard to hold this big noggin up!

For the other stats, I'm 12lbs 2oz (30%) and 22 3/4" (15%).  To save you from having to look back at my 2 month stats, I've gained a little over a pound and basically used all my energy to keep my head big as I really didn't get much longer.  There's no need to worry though, the doctor declared me healthy and happy and just told mummy that she has to keep getting up with me at night.  I'm always game for a midnight snack, so I'm happy with the outcome.

Seriously, it's a big head - I've got to take a rest from trying to hold it up.

Sisters

Anna is such a great big sister to me.  The other day I was hanging out on my playmat and she came and joined me.  We had a lovely conversation and she protected me from Jonah's over-exuberant love all at the same time. 

Repeat Offender

I've got a touch of cradle cap and mummy read somewhere that coconut oil helps.  While Auntie Leslie was visiting I had a coconut oil treatment.  It did seem to help a little so I bet mummy will do it again.

Auntie Leslie is a true glutton for punishment.  After spending a week with us at Thanksgiving, she came back for another week right after the New Year.  This time she brought Kyle, the Walrus along as reinforcement.

With extra adult supervision, it was safe for me to kick around the floor a little bit which was fun.

Fancy Hair

Gran did a bun.

 Liz did a french braid.  Mummy does best still with pig tails and pony tails.

After almost 4 years my hair is finally a force to be reckoned with.  Recently I've allowed people to experiment with my hair and make some fancy creations.  Could be the beginning of fancy hair!
