It finally happened!!! I actually lost a tooth. I know that I've been missing that top front tooth for ages, but this is for real!
I was a bit apprehensive about the removal process, so you can see that the permanent tooth already coming in. The way the tooth came out was a bit unconventional. I was chewing on a towel and daddy yanked it out of my mouth and out came the tooth!
The crazy part is that I have another tooth loose so before you know it I'll have lost 2 teeth!

T-Ball
Anna and I have joined the Inverness T-Ball league. It's our first experience in organized sports and it's a steep learning curve. Anna is working on developing a skill base while I'm trying to improve mine.
Here I am getting batting coaching. Although I like doing all the activities, batting is the one that I'm the best at.

Grass
The other day I had my first experience with grass. It wasn't too bad, but I was wearing pants. My second experience was a little less enjoyable, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of grass eventually.

Developments
It's kinda hard to see, but my bottom 2 teeth have finally broken through!
For all intensive purposes I'm a great sitter but I do topple over every now and then so mummy put pillows behind me to be safe. I'm also working on this multi-part crawl that involves moving my legs forward, then my arms then I fall down and do it all over again. It's forward motion even if it's not efficient.
I started solids a few weeks ago. I'm not really that interested, or that good at it right now and am giving mummy and daddy a little trouble with it. Aunty Leslie was willing to come to the rescue and recommended that they let me play with my food. It's messier then mummy would like, but she's willing to deal with the mess if it will help me be more receptive.

Colorado
This past weekend mummy, Anna and I went to Colorado to visit Grandma, Great-grandma, Uncle Scott, Aunt Ericka and Sierra. Flat Stanley came along for the adventure, and he got me into the cockpit of the airplane and I even got to wear the captain's hat!
We went to Jump Street, which is a place that is basically made out of trampolines. It was lots of fun, and was made even more fun because Uncle Scott & Sierra came to jump too!
Another day we went to the Denver Zoo. It's a giant zoo and we got so see all sorts of animals. While we were away, daddy did a 5K with Jonah and Julia. Our zoo walking was our 5K it was so big. It was another fun adventure especially because Grandma, Uncle Scott, Aunt Ericka & Sierra came along too!
Awesome part of the zoo? They have these birds, lorikeets that you can feed cups of nectar to. I was a little nervous at first, but really got into it. If you ever go, the guide said that it's best to get to the lorikeets around 9 so that they're still hungry. It took a bit of effort to find a hungry lorikeet, but it was worth it!
With Sierra - mummy's real camera is broken so she had to use her phone to take pictures and they didn't come out very well but it's all we have.
With Uncle Scott & Aunt Ericka (and Flat Stanley).
With BB, Grandma's dog. Grandma has another dog, Saphie, who is much bigger but was more afraid of us so she never hung around for pictures.
With Grandma, Great-grandma and Uncle Scott.
Anna with BB. They had a love/hate relationship because BB kept jumping up on Anna and because he was so heavy he'd knock her down, but she still loved to play with him.

6 Months
Six months and counting! I had my check up and I'm 15lbs 12 oz (42-49% depending where you look) and 26" (50-71%, how there's such a big variance I don't know). I'm a healthy happy little girl and even managed a quick recovery from my shots. I'm a prolific spitter, just like all the other Goodalls, I'm just making up for lost time since I didn't start til 4 months.
I'm so close to crawling it's maddening! You see that I can almost do a plank and also pull my knees all the way in. I just need to work on my coordination to move my hands and knees at the same time and I'll be on my way. In the meantime I just scoot around backwards everywhere I can!
I'm such a happy girl, quick to smile and fast to laugh. Mummy says that I'm a sheer delight and a wonderful addition to the family.

More Love
There was a post that Julia recently did about all the sibling love going around and I felt a little left out. I love Julia too. I actually will tell anyone who will listen that she's my best friend. I like to gently rub her face like mummy and say sweet things to her.
Note my cool band-aid - I walked into the garage door hinge and got a good scratch on my nose. I kept picking at it so mummy put the band-aid on to protect it. It's all healed up now and I kind of miss my accessory.
