We just got back from a touch-a-truck event! As you know, I love transportation related things, so this was right up my alley. There were firetrucks, dump trucks, construction trucks, mobile cranes, ambulances and police related trucks. This event may have helped to confirm for me that I want to be a truck driver when I grow up.

Small Group
In case you haven't heard, we're moving to Chicago in a little over a week. That means that we had our last small group meeting in Boston tonight. I don't think the reality has hit any of us, but we did have the sense to take a few pictures while we were all together.

Latest Tricks
I realized that I haven't done an update on my latest and greatest tricks and there are many. I'm crawling! It's a crawl that needs refinement, but it gets me from one place to another so it counts. I've got 2 teeth that have come in and 3 more on the way and I've started to say "dada". There is question if I mean dada when I say it, but I say it so that counts too. Like I said, I've been busy!

Attacked
Today we went to The Butterfly Place with Ida & Mads. As it turns out, Mads is almost as afraid of butterflies as Anna is, which I now understand. All Noah wanted was a butterfly to land on him. He got a few quick visits, but I got attacked by a butterfly! It landed on my face and my bib and my stroller. I kept trying to knock him off, but he'd come right back. I don't think I want to go back to The Butterfly Place, as I do not think that I like butterflies too much either.

Our Family
We have a lovely friend, Kelly Lorenz, who is a photographer. She came and did some photos early last year, and we met up again just a few weeks ago. Mummy and daddy appreciate her ability to capture our special family moments and will cherish the memories these pictures invoke. For us kids, it was just fun to splash in Frog Pond.
Neighbor Love
Jonah and Ida - Jonah is at the phase where he's always wearing a bib which isn't so nice in pictures, but is better for his clothes.
Mads reading a story to me and Noah.
To say that we love our neighbors may not be a strong enough statement. Over the past few years they've come to be like family to us. We love all of them, but especially think that Ida and Mads are super cool. We love to hang out with them, and mummy and Gitte are always talking about pairing me off with Mads. While I doubt the likelihood of their plan, we do look forward to always being friends.
Spinners
Although it may look like this picture is of daddy and Jonah, it's actually our whole semi-pro team.
We didn't figure out why the Lowell Spinners have alligators as their mascots, but they do. I didn't want to meet them but Noah did.
Last weekend went to our first semi-pro baseball game! The Lowell Spinners are a local team, and we went to see them play with some friends. The game itself didn't really capture our attention but the atmosphere and treats sure did. We may not be ready for a Red Sox game yet, but I think we're ready for more semi-pro!
