Over Christmas break, we tried to go to the Children's Museum, but it was so full that there were no parking spaces. We decided instead to check out this place called Make a Messterpiece. They have all sorts of mess mediums to explore that we don't get to do at home. One of our favorites was called "Drum Roll", where we dressed head-to-toe in rain gear and then went into a soundproof room where pools of paint waited on drum heads. We felt like Blue Man Group banging away on paint drums. Although I was a bit tentative about it, it really was awesome!

We're both in transit to another paint filled drum. They had flashing lights and fun music to help us really get in the mood.
They also have a general play space, which is the only time Jonah got out of the stroller. Needless to say, it was his favorite part of Make a Messterpiece.
In the general play area they also have a slide. When you walk in to the place, you immediately put on a smock, and as you can tell, they're very well loved.
Another cool feature was "Bubbletime", where they had these machines that blew paint bubbles onto paper. When the bubble pops it leaves a neat design on your paper. This was mummy's favorite activity and now we all want a paint bubble machine at our house.
I was so amazed at the bubbles! This really is a great way to paint!
Ok, so at the end we let Jonah explore the bubbles a bit. He really liked it.
